Medium burgundy, cherry highlights, med opacity. Stable colour for the age, clean.
The nose is floral with mixed bramble fruits, currant notes. Integrated peppery qualities (more spice than vegetal profile). Savoury notes develop with aeration, a really pleasing hickory note there as well, balanced oak.
The palate shows vibrant fruit and structured tannin, juicy red fruit (cranberry as well). Substantial and satisfying, excellent balance here. Very easy to enjoy! One for a special occasion.
